IL PALAGIACCIO
Historical farm from XIII century of Mugello.

"Il Palagiaccio", ancient manor of the Ubaldini family from Senni, also mentioned by Dante Alighieri in his masterpiece Divina Commedia, represents the tradition and the history of cattle breeding and milk production in Tuscany.

“Il Palagiaccio” farm offers, direct sale at his farm shop, his home made products: Cheeses, yogurt, milk, ricotta and meat.

The Farm
Il Palagiaccio is located in Senni, just out of the nice village of Scarperia, and is surrounded by the green natural envirioment of the beautiful Mugello valley. Driving the Crocioni road to Borgo San Lorenzo, just passed the junction, you can see on an upper position the “Fattoria Palagiaccio”. Here, built in the early XIV century, there was castle that belonged to the Ubaldini family from Senni. Of the Ancient manor, still remains the nice tower remodelled in early ‘900 in a neo gothic style.

The shop in the farm
Driving the Crocioni road to Borgo San Lorenzo, just passed the junction, you can see on an upper position the Fattoria Palagiaccio. Just drive 300 meters more and you will find the farm shop on your right. Very easy to find also because very well indicated. It’s also easy to park in our large parking.
